Meat productivity of quails by feeding nanocrystalline cerium dioxide

The use of nanomaterials in poultry farming has become increasingly popular as feed additives capable increasing the productivity herd. Nanocrystalline cerium dioxide belongs to with a broad spectrum activity. Owing their oxygen non-stoichiometry and low toxicity, nanoparticles are very promising object for agriculture. paper presents results studying meat quails Pharaoh breed when drinking nanocrystalline composition additive “Nanocerium”. study was carried out on during rearing period from 14 49 days. For experiment, two groups (control experimental) 24 heads each were formed one day old poultry. kept vivarium, cage batteries, subject accepted microclimate conditions. Poultry both received compound feed, developed taking into account age physiological characteristics. With water, experimental group additionally part “Nanocerium” at dose 8,6 mg per liter water 35 quail population counted weighed weekly, starting day-old age. following indicators determined: safety, dynamics live weight, average daily gain weight. According control slaughter anatomical cutting, weight carcass edible determined. Slaughter qualities morphological carcasses determined by cutting measurement parameters: pre-slaughter half-battered patrana, yield, parts. Drinking young increased safety 4.17%, absolute 20.3 g 0.48 (P <0.05), respectively. addition NDC contributed an increase 19.3 g, half-gutted 18.0 gutted 17.5 comparison group. had higher yield parts that consumed pure water.
